Nearly 12 years ago and under an MIT public license, the Bitcoin White Paper was released. This whitepaper was a technical description that outlined the principles of a peer-to-peer electronic cash system that was cryptographically secured and designed to be transparent and censorship-resistant.
As a response to the controversy surrounding the orders of Craig Wright to delete this paper from multiple Bitcoin websites, government officials in Colombia, Estonia and Miami have elected to host this whitepaper. Other firms that have supported the hosting of this whitepaper on their website include: Square, Chaincode Labs, Paradigm, Coin Center, Novi, NYDIG, and Casa.
